Meet the MD
Poonam is a qualified accountant. After qualifying within audit and assurance in practice she then went into corporate finance before moving into Industry.
Poonam started working at Hamilton Bradshaw looking after a portfolio of SME recruitment businesses helping them with everything from general bookkeeping to sitting on their Board as acting Finance Director.
Then moving to Spencer Ogden where growth of the Company went from £18m turnover to £50m in 2 years. Here Poonam led the entire finance function, dealing with all operations, restructured the group to assist with funding and opened up many of the international offices.
Poonam then went onto to work at Milestone Operations whom was turning over £50m with 2500 contractors out each week. Poonam led the due diligence and legal sale of the Company to Staffline PLC.
Since leaving she has worked for a number of recruitment businesses helping with growth strategies, budgeting, performing due diligence for potential acquisitions and setting up financing solutions enabling Companies to focus on growth.
